Phonics Bug

Dear Parents,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to inform you that the children now have access to Phonics Bug, a great resource for enhancing their literacy skills. You can find their login details on a paper in their diaries.

To access Phonics Bug, simply click on the following link: Phonics Bug Login

Once there, please input the provided username, password, and school code.
From time to time, I’ll be assigning new books for the children to explore and enjoy. When all the books are read, children now have the option to go on ‘My Stuff’ and ‘Reading corner’ and they can choose a topic and book according to their liking. Your encouragement in their reading journey is greatly appreciated.

Should you encounter any difficulties to access Phonics Bug or have any queries, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via Teams.

On another note, please take note of the paper provided in the red box file about Tomorrow’s outing.

Thank you,

Ms. Mandy

Classroom without walls.

Dear Parents,

Please note that for next week the children are to wear their usual school uniform and white trainers. We suggest to get the SCHOOL CAP (no other cap) and put on some sunblock prior coming to school. It is very important to be on time at school throughout the whole week.

Children need to get:

  • their normal/big school bag
  •  healthy lunch,
  • 2 bottles of water, (as no extra water will be available on site)
  • small packet of wipes
  • a packet of tissues
  • red box file with all the homework and other things that we keep in it (we will leave this under the desk in class and take the necessary things, and also use it when we are back to school)
  • pocket/pencil case.

Tuesday

IMPORTANT: On Tuesday children need to get a clipboard (any colour) to use at the Verdala Palace. If you do not have a clipboard there is no need to buy a new one, the children can use a button file instead. Kindly refer to the pictures below.

Thanks,

Ms.Mandy.

Dear parents / guardians,

Just a reminder that tomorrow the children can come to school wearing either a carnival costume or casual attire. No scary masks or toy weapons like swords or guns.

School finishes at 12:00 PM tomorrow (NO KLABB 3-16).
Therefore, the children can bring their lunch, water botte and pencil case in a small bag. There is no need to get the red box file, since the homework given today is for Thursday 15th February (after the holidays).

Please encourage your children to read during the holidays.

Thanks,

Buskett outing – Tomorrow

Dear parents/guardians,

Tomorrow we have the outing at Buskett as part of our ‘classroom without walls’ project.

The children should wear their usual school uniform and white trainers.
They should bring a small outing bag with their lunch and water bottle, and also their normal school bag.

On another note, I have uploaded some photos in the photos section.
Hope you all had a good weekend.

Thanks,
Ms.Mandy

Outing form

Dear parents/guardians,

Kindly be informed that I will be providing you with the outing form for January 22nd once again tomorrow. The previous form (the one that was given yesterday) has no space for your signature. If you have already submitted the money, there is no need to resend it.

Additionally, I’d like to remind you that for this Friday’s outing, children should wear either wellington boots or an old pair of trainers, as we will be visiting a farm. It would be wonderful if the children could bring along a carrot and/or an apple to feed the animals.

Thank you,
Ms. Mandy
